Pregnancy & Massage
Whether expected or unexpected, pregnancy is a time of experiencing abrupt changes, complex emotions, thoughts and body sensations. Our bodies are not our own, as we carry and nurture a poppy seed to a watermelon.

Massage during pregnancy has been utilized around the world for centuries. I am honored to be considered in this part of your journey to parenthood.
Benefits
Safety
Prenatal massage is designed to be safe and appropriate during pregnancy. It was developed to support the physiological systems working overtime to grow the unborn baby. Massage is one of the safest and most effective ways to reduce tension, stress and anxiety.

DO NOT get massage if you are experiencing any of the following:
bleeding or staining, premature labor (between 20-37 weeks), pitting edema, a spike in
blood pressure or a hypertensive condition, placenta previa, or abruptio placentae.
